Deltarune text box generator
Both worlds, built the way the game builds them
The Dark World box is put together from the game's own sprites: four corner jewels that turn through 8 frames, a new one every third of a second, with edges stretched between them. It's 593 by 167 pixels at the game's 640 by 480 resolution, or 1186 by 334 at 2×. Dark World letters sit 16 pixels apart with the game's shadow under them, one pixel down and to the right, fading from grey to navy. Coloured letters fade from white into their colour instead.
The Light World box is Undertale's, 289 by 76 with a 3 pixel border. Lines wrap where the game wraps them, at 33 letters, or 26 beside a portrait. Toriel and Asgore move their mouths in time with their voice; everyone else changes face between expressions, as in the game. Picking a character switches to the world they talk in, and the world buttons switch it back.

The voice menu also has Papyrus' and Spamton's voices, which ship in the demo's files without a dialogue portrait. Sans speaks in Comic Sans, as he does in Undertale.
